  • Jailbreaking
  • Creating exploits for website, devices, servers …
  • Malware
  • Spyware
  • Rootkits
  • Botnets
  • Anti-virus and Anti-malware

Security is a very controversial area in Programming. They are both
underground criminals and infrastructure programmers who are active defenders here.

  1. Creative Programmers

Since the first release of BASIC on Commodore 64 programmers have
been able to stretch what code can do.

Application programmers often specialise in a particular set of
tools, languages and platforms. Application architects specialise
in the over all processes involved in developing application software.

Infrastructure programmers.
